Welcome to Naturalistic Neurodiversity.

This is a group blog for atheists who don’t have the belief that there is a standard perfect model in whose image we’re all created.  We’re all simply evolved brains that happen to be really clever; deviation in the code will be normal and expected.  Since our minds and our brains are inseparable, respecting each other necessitates respecting neurological differences.  This doesn’t mean we should neglect therapies which would help an individual function to hir desired level, but it does mean perhaps we should stop stigmatizing “non-standard” brains so much.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in discussing (at whatever level of commitment you feel is right for you), please leave a comment here and I’ll add you to the list of contributors.
